Bookkeeping Service Houston A rhythm with nothing left over
A monthly rhythm, kept with Steven Palmieri, a Tax CFO, means the next month does not open on a list of unfinished questions.

A monthly rhythm, kept with Steven Palmieri, a Tax CFO, means the next month does not open on a list of unfinished questions.

Finished means the bank matches, the questions are answered or written down with an owner, and the tax you collected is set aside. A statement can then be read. Anything short of that is a draft, and a draft is not what the next month should inherit.
A retainer is the agreement to do that every month. It is not a pile of hours. If a month needs more because the bank file arrived late, we say so before we do the extra work. The terms page is where scope and fee are described.
Leftover questions are how a year becomes a rescue. We would rather close a smaller month honestly than carry twenty questions into March and call them a service.
A leftover starts when a deposit cannot be named, when a payday journal is missing, or when collected tax was left inside profit. Each of those can be fixed inside the ten days if we see it. Each of them becomes a project if it waits a quarter.
If you are already carrying a list, the first month of the rhythm is the cleanup of that list. We name how far back it goes. We do not pretend the tenth applies to a year that has not been touched.
The museum district is a group of museums and cultural houses, and Thursdays draw a crowd because several of them waive admission that day. Every Texan can enjoy that afternoon. We still want the shop that served the crowd to know which month those sales belong in before the next Thursday arrives.
Say whether you want a monthly rhythm or whether a leftover list has to be cleared first.
You will be talking to the Steven Palmieri practice.
